Yo! (somewhat belatedly) I'm here, dude. (I never say 'dude'. That was just
for effect, you understand. Ackshully, I don't say 'Yo', either.).

Ha! He says he's there, utter tosh, I'll have you know he's not all there at
all!

(and he does too say "Yo" - but normally in the context of "Yo mama !! Look
at my pink capri pants!!" )

:-)

Great!. So, Duffin is here.

And Ian.

And Tom is here.

And I'm here.

So, where's T308, Tiger, Matt, Mike, and Speaker?

Where is the rest of the old gang?

Where's that guy that used to nag everyone (I forgot his name/tag.)

I came back and perused as many threads as I can stomach, damn it's
been quiet.

Not to mention, what the hec happened to the prices of 355's? Sheesh,
they dropped in value more than Hummers.

I still drop in occasionally to see if there's any activity. Alas, not
much.

But I do have some news... I'm putting together a book. Well,
actually, the plan is to put together a number of books. Mostly
designed for scale modelers, but might be of interest to anyone wanting
a detailed look into various cars.

Several Ferrari's are on my list. Volume One will be on the 250 GTO. I
have accumulated around 50,000 pictures over the years at Vintage races
and at the Cavallino Classic track event, a lot of them detailed
pictures of parts of a car that might interest a modeler.

My list so far, each a different volume...

Ford GT40
Ferrari GTO
Ferrari 250TR
Ferrari 312F1
Ferrari 312T
Ferrari 500F2
Ferrari 512BBLM
Ferrari 512M
Ferrari 365 Comp Daytona
Maserati 250F
Maserati Birdcage
Porsche 956
Porsche 962
Porsche 908
Porsche 917
Lola T70
Jaguar C/D Type, Lister Jaguar
Bugatti T35
GTP/Camel Lights/Prototypes

Mostly doing it for fun, as I have all these pictures.. :-) But might
make a buck or two as well.

Whilst I do adore my Ferrari, what's missing below is representation
from the American "F" car - Ford. Yes I am serious.

What about the late 60's early 70's Mustangs. I so love those cars.
The Boss 302, the Mach 1, the sound of a 351 Cleveland or Windsor.

Which then also brings up another possibility.....Put a Mustang and a
Ferrari 308 in a blender, and out comes a DeTomasso Pantera. My buddy
has one of these - real fast, great sound, looks good, and it costs
about $37US for a major service.
