It is possible to improve your milage by 50%
Yes! Simply restrict your driving to the uphill sections of your journey and
roll your car along the
downhill sections!

(provided you start and end your journey at the same altitude... ...and
ignoring friction... ..and the prevailing winds. ...But apart from that,

Most modern cars shut off the fuel anyway going downhill and you use extra
going uphill so not really true. But, my Ferrari is non operating 50% off
the time, that saves fuel though.

Ah, but you see; 'milage' refers to the property of a grain that renders it
suitable for milling - for example, bread only exists because some grains,
such as corn or wheat, can be 'milled' into flour. What this chap is clearly
referring to is the use of corn-based bio-fuels and hence, the 'milage' he
cites is directly related to the...
